Superman director and DC Studios Chief James Gunn recently responded to speculation that Adria Arjona (Andor, Hit Man) was in consideration for Wonder Woman after fans discovered he followed her on Instagram, and then said she’d be great in the role:
“I follow Adria on Instagram, but everybody came out (and thought), ‘He just followed her, that means she’s Wonder Woman,'” Gunn told Extra in a recent sit down. “She’d be a great Wonder Woman, by the way.”
Gunn elaborated on their professional relationship: “She was in a movie that I made … We’ve been friends and have known each other since that time,” Gunn added. “I followed her then, I didn’t just follow her.”
I LOVE Arjona (Bix from Andor?! Come on!) and think she’d be great, so I’m in.
