With the release of Edgar Wright’s The Running Man, I revisited the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring original. I used to watch it a ton as a kid circa middle school days in the mid 90s. It’s objectively terrible, but it’s peak 80s action absurdity and features some incredible on-the-nose one-liners via Schwarzenegger’s titular Ben Richards character.
