Cate Blanchett is one of my favorite actresses and with the Oscars coming up I wanted to share her history with the Academy Awards. Throughout her career, she’s racked up a total of 8 nominations (2 in the same year!) and 2 wins (The Aviator for Best Supporting Actress and Blue Jasmine for Best Actress). The years featured here are Oscar ceremony, not film release.
Her performance as Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator is by far my favorite from this list (also super underrated Scorsese). What’s your fave? Where did she get robbed?
