The cast of Scream 7 is really shaping up. Many actors are returning to the franchise, including Neve Campbell after stepping away from Scream 6 due to pay disparities. But two of the biggest curiosities are the return of Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley, both of whom’s characters died in Scream and Scream 3, respectively.
On top all of the returnees in front of the camera, long-time Scream franchise writer Kevin Williamson will take a first-shot at directing a Scream movie for this installment. Production commenced last month in Atlanta and is set to be released February 27, 2026.
