With the release of Tron: Ares (which I did not like), I revisited 2010’s Tron: Legacy, directed by Joseph Kasinski. And it was a profoundly impressive rewatch. 15 years later, the visuals and score in that film is one of the greatest combinations of sight and sound in the history of sci-fi. The writing leaves a lot to be desired, but the audiovisual experience of Tron: Legacy holds up amazingly well over time.
